I am a high schooler with an old MicroMill DSLS 3000 that I have been trying to get working. I am using a desktop with Windows 7 (32-bit) to run Mach 3. Here is the user's manual.
Setting up the taig cnc micromill 2000 to work with mach3
Make sure you're downloading the correct xml as I believe there's quite a difference between xml's for the Taig 2000 and the Taig DSLS 3000 systems. I'm not at all familiar with the 2000 system but it is not the same controller setup at all as the 3000 and with the 2000, I think you need some sort of "pulse- adapter" to run the 2000 with Mach 3.
